Weihnachtsmarkt vor Weihnachten

it's the time of the year again when christmas markets are sprouting like mushrooms! Münich, Berlin, Mannheim, Baden-Baden or  Bad-xxx or xxx-heim... (Germany comes up with the funniest and weirdest names for towns and cities, you just have no idea sometimes!) that aside, christmas markets are indeed very pretty. Glühwine und Schweinesteak mit Brötchen are the best combination!!! if it's not for the extremely cold weather the past week, i am sure i would have visited a few more by now! hopefully it gets a tad bit warmer this weekend ... until i have more photos taken in christmas markets and before i head back for my one month break! here are a few taken in Heidelberg's! =D

what's more satisfying than spending a schönes Wochenende with a very loving couple, visiting my very 大佬，sipping on hot Glühwein below 0°C at the Weihnachtsmakrt and having a bowl of deliciously homemade hot noodle soup? =D (and getting stuck behind the chair while running back for a group photo)

for some reason, i feel extremely excited today! can't wait to see the both of you and have some life high sessions back home!!! =D soon nut, soon granny, soooooooon!!! 

冬天 | 雪

it's been a while since it was this cold!!! 

it snowed through the whole of yesterday. everyone is always excited during the first snow fall. 

i woke up today to a very white and sunny morning, the last day of the month... 

it's been a while since the 50 became my favorite, it felt very strange using the others...

i wonder if all that i have read and experienced were true? the 'feel' does exist after all? 

it's cold. i can barely feel my fingers now. 

it's cold.

on the 21st of November 2010...

we fought hard, really hard. during the day, we had our disagreements in the way we played, there was no room for one-man show, selfishness was intolerable. and slowly but surely, we started to play as a team, although not the prettiest nor the smoothest, but it was growing.

our defense was the highlight, teammates and friends throwing themselves into almost everyone that came within our zone. amazed and excited I played and watched, cheering and shouting at the top of my lungs... 

we continued our style of play, we topped the group stage, stormed through the semi-finals and well, lost to a much better team in the finals. We have exceeded our own expectations, we have achieved more than just winning, we have gained invaluable friendship, we have... we have... and we have formed a team.

Mildner's cafe, Heidelberg

was at this a cafe in Heidelberg over the weekend! It has walls with printed frames in different sizes and everyone can draw/write anything on them! so every frame is a unique piece of art by itself!!! so without hesitating, we flex our drawing muscles as well! =P i didn't snap any end-drawing, i guess that says a lot about how well we can draw huh? anyway, enjoy the series and i will go back and take more photos of other corners! they have a super huge table lamp! (floor lamp in this case) you'll be amazed, trust me!!!

a rare treat to a very nice italian cuisine in Mannheim!!! thank you very much insisting that i must order the more expensive grilled beef, just too bad that they didn't serve the real bistecca alla fiorentina! =P that would have been heaven-ish, really.  I hope you both had a great weekend in Switzerland! (too bad i am too poor to tag along as well, it would also have been heaven-ish, too, lol) 


p/s - Birthday present is still in the thinking process, you know-lah, they always come a month or two late =P have some patience, ok?
