this post is rather filled with mixed feelings. One of us has decided that he will be leaving Germany for good and start his next chapter back home with his family, ever-lasting gf and hopefully soon-to-be wife. I am glad for him in a way, no, actually i am happy for him as i feel that this is a very brave choice and a very wise one too. How can we ever weigh the comfort and happiness we receive from our beloved ones? never. 


i wish him all the best, he works harder than anyone of us and i am sure he will have a bright future! there goes my shopping partner, mahjong si-fu, chor-dee kaki, gap-lui-buddy and above all, a good friend of mine! nevertheless, we shall both reach for our dreams in different ways and meet up one day in the near future! =) Alles Gute dai lou...

how true is it that our mom looks after us all (children) while we play around? and how true is it that while our dad keeps an eye on us, he is constantly taking care of his beloved wife? 

longeasterweekend

first outing after coming back from Malaysia! It's a longeasterweekend and the uni will be closed, hence, no WORK! and classes will not resume until after next week! *blessed* 

so... me and my friends who are constantly poor and thrifty (very poor) have decided to just spend the day at the nearby castle, Schloss Schwetzingen. The entrance to the huge but still bare garden was only 2,50€ for students! A good deal right? We had packed lunch thanks to Sean and Ngar Shien! (chopping board for the cucumber, beer as the thirst quencher, some delicious cheese, smoked ham, butter and wholemeal bread)

i havent taken photos for such a long time! i have nothing to post! this blog is dying once AGAIN! i miss all my kaki-langs back home... ANYONE kind enough to get me a ticket for a slightly longer weekend-getaway?


Anyway, a slightly cheerful piece of news - I might be off to italy only in July (not May), BUT with one of my 老死! it's still at the very beginning of the planning stage but I'm excited already!

mummy, the one who has kept everyone well fed, none of us can live without a deliciously-boiled soup. the one who has kept the house squeaky clean and complains that I dirty and mess up the house everytime i go back!!!

another short but fun photography outing with my 老朋友 and 2 newly made friends - Darren & Bawang a.k.a Onion! =P This time we headed towards 天后宫, a very famous temple around Klang Valley. After our almost 2 hours session, we went for our usual supper, and this time - we had the famous SETAPAK chao keuy teow! *burp*

恭喜发财 2010 !!!

ello all!!!  It's been ages since i last posted anything! alas... I am back home around family, friends and my new gadgets! =D it's a pity that not everyone can make it this time, i hope they aren't feeling too bad about it as I ALWAYS do feel as if a huge part of me is missing when I am abroad during chinese new year! Weather has been scorching hot since the day I landed, a huge and almost 35 degrees difference from the insanely cold europe this winter! apart from that, I've been having a great time meeting up with all my dearest relatives and friends, AND stuffing every delicacy which is 'oh-i-can't-get-these-in-germany'! *burp* 


I hope everyone else is having a great time, enjoying this festive holiday! Drink loads of water as my mom will remind me day in day out!
